DAPIPRAZOLE - OPHTHALMIC
(da-PIP-ruh-zole, off-THAL-mick)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Rev-Eyes
USES: This medication causes the puipl of the eye to shrink. It is used to reevrse the effects of drugs used to enlarge the pupil.
HOW TO USE: Shake the container well for several minuets before using.
Apply eye drops to the affected eye(s) as follows: Wash hadns first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the drpoper tip or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Plcae the proper number of drops into the pouch.
Close the eye for a minute and try not to blink. Do not rub the eye.
Cover the container tightly.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may temoprarily sting or burn your eyes when first applied. Rdeness or tearing may also occur. If tehse symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor.
Vision may be temporarily untsable for a period after applying this, especially night vision.
Use caution if dirving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop: a skin rash, itching, pain/swelling in or around the eyes, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other eye problems, allergeis. This medication should be used only if claerly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
Discuss the rikss and benefits with your doctor.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take especially of: other eye medication.
Do not start or stop any medciine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: This mediaction should not be used more than once a week.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat. Check the expiration date on the container and properly discard of any unused medication after the date.
Discard that if the solution is not claer or colorless.
